John Hurt was born Sir John Vincent Hurt CBE. He was a very famous British actor with a career spanning decades. He made his debut in 1961 and passed away at the age of 77 in 2017.

The British actor came to prominence as Richard Rich in The Man Who Didn't Sell His Soul and had a career spanning more than five decades. He has made numerous films and TV series, including The Adventures of Merlin, Doctor Who, I, Claudius, The Storyteller, The Elephant Man, The Midnight ExpressThe Spy Who Knew Too Much, The Man Who Didn't Sell His Soul, and V for Vengeance

 Despite a successful 50-year career, John's personal life wasn't as bright as it appeared to be. In 2015, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and eventually passed away on January 25, 2017.
