LESLIE CARTER - DRUG OVERDOSE

Leslie Carter was the sister of pop stars Nick and Aaron Carter from the Backstreet Boys. In addition to her singing success, she also tried her hand at acting and achieved some fame in that field too.

She has acted on TV in House of Carters, which aired in 2006. She married Mike Ashton and had a daughter, Alyssa Jane Ashton. Although she wasn't as well known as her brothers, like them, Leslie also pursued a singing career. Sadly, she struggled with depression and anxiety and, in 2012, passed away from an overdose of prescription drugs. She was only 25 years old. 

Despite all the success and happiness in her professional and personal life, she had more than her fair share of challenges. We hope that her family has found peace with her loss and that she has found the strength to move on.
