STEVE IRWIN - BLED TO DEATH
The well-known Australian zoo worker became famous as The Crocodile Hunter, gaining fame and popularity across the globe with the show The Crocodile Hunter, a wildlife documentary that was a hit on television from 1996 to 2007.
Steve and his wife Terri have presented many series such as The Crocodile Hunter Diaries, Croc Files and New Breed Vets. The couple also owned and operated a 100-acre Australia Zoo, the cornerstone that Steve's parents had planted in Beerwah.
During the recording of Ocean's Deadliest, Irwin was stung by a stingray that pierced his heart. Even after cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Irwin didn't survive. His lawyers tell the same story, and we hope that his insurance will have benefited the family after his departure.
