Raíssa Santana
Raíssa Santana is a Brazilian model who won the Miss Brazil contest in 2016, representing Paraná, a state in the south of Brazil. She was born in Bahia and moved with her family to Paraná when she was 6 years old. Raíssa was the second black woman to win Miss Brazil. Her victory came exactly 30 years after that of Deise Nunes, who was the first black Brazilian woman to be elected Miss Brazil. After this victory, Raíssa also competed for Miss Universe, and was one of the 13 finalists.
