Camila Alves is a Brazilian model and television presenter. She was born in the state of Minas Gerais. At a young age, she traveled to the United States to visit an uncle, and ended up deciding to move there for good. Camila lived in Los Angeles for four years, where she worked as a waitress and cleaner. After that, she decided to move to New York and try her hand at modeling. After working as a model for a while, Camila became a television presenter in the United States. In 2012, she married actor Matthew McConaughey, with whom she has three children.
