Adriana Lima is a Brazilian supermodel and actress. The model, who is now internationally known, has humble roots in a low-class neighborhood in Salvador, Bahia. At the age of 15, she began her modeling career when she won an international modeling contest. Just three years later, she moved to New York, where she was hired by Elite Model Management. Throughout her career, Adriana appeared numerous times in Vogue magazine and walked for famous brands such as Vera Wang, Valentino and Giorgio Armani. From 1999 until 2018, she was one of Victoria's Secret's most famous Angels. Known as the model who has worn the Fantasy Bra the most times, in 2017 she received the award for the most valuable Victoria's Secret Angel. Adriana has appeared three times on Forbes' list of the 100 most influential celebrities in the world. From 2019 until 2014, she was married to basketball player Marki Jaríc, with whom she had two daughters.
