Isis Valverde

Isis Valverde comes from a humble family and grew up in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais. When she was just 15, she left her parents' home and moved in with close relatives in Belo Horizonte, where she lived for three years until she finished her studies. When she was 18, Isis moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she began studying theater and also working as a model. It was in 2006 that the actress had her first role in a Globo soap opera called 'Sinhá Moça', where she played the character Ana do Véu. After that, she also acted in several famous soap operas such as 'Caminho das Índias' and 'Avenida Brasil'. As well as acting in soap operas, the actress also made her debut in Brazilian cinema with the character Maria Lucia in the film Faroeste Caboclo (a film inspired by the music of singer-songwriter Renato Russo). Isis is of Italian descent and is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful Brazilians.
