"It's always very exciting to have a film selected for the Cannes Film Festival. Although this is my sixth time here, it feels like my first. According to the official synopsis of "Motel Destino", "Under the burning sky on a roadside on the coast of Ceará, Motel Destino is the scene of dangerous games of desire, power and violence. One night, the arrival of young Heraldo definitively changes the daily life of the place."
