Céline Dion shares emotional photo with her three children and talks about rigid person syndrome
Céline Dion has moved her fans by sharing a photo of her with her three children and venting about Stiff Person Syndrome. The 55-year-old singer revealed that she was diagnosed with the condition in the fall of 2022 and has been facing one of the most difficult experiences of her life.
In a post on Instagram to mark International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day, Céline thanked her children, family, team and fans for their love and support. She encouraged all those affected by the Syndrome that it is possible to overcome.
Stiff Person Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that causes stiffness in the muscles of the trunk, arms and legs, limiting the ability to move and causing painful spasms. Céline Dion made a surprise and emotional return to the stage at last month's Grammy Awards, where she received a standing ovation.
Despite having canceled some concerts due to her illness, the singer remains determined to return to the stage and live as normal a life as possible. Fans were moved by Céline's outburst and showed all their support and love for the artist.
