María Penella talks about the Roberto Gómez Bolaños biographical series: "Without meaning to"
María Penella, granddaughter of Roberto Gómez Bolaños, known as Chespirito, recently spoke about the biographical series in homage to her grandfather, which will tell the story of the producer responsible for bringing joy to millions of Mexicans with his iconic characters such as Chaves and Chapolin Colorado.
Entitled "Without meaning to", the production is already generating a lot of anticipation among the public and celebrities such as Florinda Meza, Edgar Vivar and Lalo España. At a press conference, María Penella expressed her opinion on the project, saying only that she thought it was "very cool". When asked about the actor who will play her grandfather, she praised Pablo Cruz, who has already been confirmed for the lead role.
Chespirito's granddaughter emphasized that the project is very secret and avoided giving details about the recordings, claiming that the reporters had more information than she did. Despite being a little rushed due to commitments, María Penella showed enthusiasm for the biographical series.
As well as being the granddaughter of one of the greatest icons of Mexican television, María Penella also has a career in acting, having taken part in plays and television productions such as "El Hotel de los Secretos", "Te acuerdas de mí" and "Mujer de nadie".
