Epic Games Store: List of Free Games (April 25 to May 9)

It's another Thursday on the Epic Games Store, which means new reveals and changes to the selection of free games. Unfortunately, it also means that anyone who missed out on the addition of The Big Con (from April 18 to 25) on the Epic Games Store can now no longer claim it. Instead, players will have the opportunity to purchase Industria and LISA: Definitive Edition over the next week, until May 2, when they will be replaced by the newly announced free game from EGS: Orcs Must Die 3.

The inclusion of Industria and LISA: Definitive Edition in the Epic Games Store will be available until Thursday, May 2, at 10 a.m. Central Time. For those who don't know it yet, Industria is an atmospheric and immersive FPS that offers fans five different weapons to use throughout its compact four hours of gameplay. Set in East Berlin during the Cold War era, around the time of the fall of the wall, the game takes a twist. Players must uncover a dark past and a frightening reality while searching for a missing colleague, with a mysterious parallel dimension at play. It's an intense experience condensed into a short time, which promises to keep history and FPS fans engaged for the duration.

Meanwhile, LISA: Definitive Edition combines two games in one, LISA: The Painful and its sequel LISA: The Joyful. This quirky side-scrolling platform RPG sees players fighting for survival in a physically and morally decaying wasteland, where they are forced to make painful choices ranging from being selfless and torn or callous and born to survive. After the availability period of these two titles, they will be replaced by Orcs Must Die 3.

Orcs Must Die 3 is a strategic action-adventure game where orcs must die in droves, either in solo play or in 2-player cooperation. Players can use a variety of traps, weapons, war machines and much more, with the game expanding on the already impressive arsenals of its predecessors. What's more, there's a new story, new war scenarios, new challenges, new game modes and much more to enjoy; Orcs Must Die 3 proves that sometimes the simplest concepts make for great games.

This selection from the Epic Games Store is interesting because the games really couldn't be more different. While Industria and LISA seek to tell deep and meaningful stories, Orcs Must Die 3 is simple by comparison. At the very least, this should appeal to a variety of Epic Games Store users.
