Leaders of information technology companies debate innovation and citizenship at meeting in Maceió

This Thursday (14) and Friday (15), leaders of information technology companies will be meeting in Maceió to discuss innovation and citizenship. The meeting, organized by the Brazilian Association of State and Public Information and Communication Technology Entities (ABEP-TIC), aims to promote discussions on development in this area in Alagoas.

Christiano Mendonça, CEO of the State Information Technology Institute (Itec), will represent Alagoas at the event. He highlighted the importance of the meeting to promote the exchange of experiences, networking and sharing of good practices in the technology sector.

In addition, Mendonça stressed that holding the event in Maceió offers a unique opportunity to promote the region as an information technology hub, attracting investment and highlighting local potential. Private companies from the sector will also take part, presenting digital solutions and innovations that contribute to technological advances in public management.

The meeting will be led by Roberto Tostes, vice-president of technology at ABEP-TIC and president of the Minas Gerais Information Technology Company. This meeting promises to be a milestone for the development of the information technology market in the country, enabling discussion of trends, innovations and challenges in the sector.
