Globo's top brass seeks to promote diversity and plans to launch new presenters of African descent

Globo seeks more representation: New black presenters in programming

Globo is committed to promoting racial inclusion in its programming, seeking representation in all segments. With its 59th anniversary coming up, the broadcaster plans to increase the presence of black presenters in its auditorium programs, reflecting Brazil's diversity.

Names like Valéria Almeida, Thiago Oliveira, Rita Batista, Kenya Sade and Pedro Lins already occupy prominent positions on Globo's grid, and the intention is to expand this cast soon. The company's diversity policy has been a banner, with director Amauri Soares leading this movement.

As well as racial inclusion, the broadcaster is also attentive to religious intolerance, seeking to promote dialogue and awareness on the subject. The presence of Preto Zezé on Domingão com Huck is an example of this commitment, bringing reflections on racial and social issues to the program.

With a focus on representativeness and diversity, Globo continues to seek balanced proportions in all its shows, aiming to reflect the plurality of Brazilian society in its programming.
