Clarification note on the Eusa Belarmino CEI case

The Guarabira Municipal Department of Education has issued a clarification note regarding an incident that occurred at CEI Eusa Belarmino. According to the school's management, a pupil presented blisters on his neck, which were promptly treated by the teachers. However, the child's mother chose to share the incident on social media, leading to sensationalist coverage by a news portal.

To clarify the facts, the Department of Education called in the Department of Health, which arranged an appointment with a doctor from the local UBS. Despite the availability of the team, the child's mother didn't show up for the appointment, causing embarrassment for everyone involved.

The manager of CEI Eusa Belarmino, Rosemery Firmino, was praised for her conduct over the years, and the Department of Education reiterated its commitment to the truth of the facts. The clarification note was signed by the Secretary of Education, Andréa Cavalcante Monteiro Alves, who made herself available for any further clarifications.
