In 2024, Embaúba Filmes will premiere ten new national films in Brazilian cinemas.

Embaúba Filmes is preparing for a year of major releases in Brazilian cinemas in 2024, with ten national feature films that promise to thrill and surprise audiences. The first highlight is the documentary "As Linhas da Minha Mão", by João Dumans, which follows actress Viviane de Cássia Ferreira and her vision of art and madness, scheduled for release on April 11.

Another eagerly awaited film is "The Clown's Daughter", directed by Pedro Diogenes and starring the talented Sutter Lis, who plays a teenager who spends a week with her comedian father. With audience awards at festivals such as Tiradentes and Gostoso, the premiere is scheduled for May 2.

"The Invention of the Other", by Bruno Jorge, winner of the Brasília Film Festival and an international award-winner, tells the story of the Funai expedition in search of isolated indigenous people, which will be released on May 23. And "The Stranger", by Flora Dias and Juruna Mallon, set in an airport, hits the big screen on June 13.

"A Flor do Buriti", directed by João Salaviza and Renée Nader Massora, portrays the resistance of the Krahô indigenous people over the decades, and opens on July 4. While "Estranho Caminho", by Guto Parente, deals with the pandemic and family reunion, arriving in theaters on August 1.

"Zé", by Rafael Conde, tells the story of a student leader during the dictatorship, premiering on August 29. And "Quando eu me encontrar", by Michelline Helena and Amanda Pontes, deals with the transformation of a family after the departure of a young woman, which will be released on September 19.

"Termodielétrico", by Ana Costa Ribeiro, delves into the career of physicist Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro, which opens on October 10. And "Corpo Presente", by Leonardo Barcelos, reflects on the body as a form of art and identity, premiering on October 31.
