Nicole Kidman's feelings on gala dresses on the Hollywood red carpets
Renowned actress Nicole Kidman revealed in an interview with Elle magazine that she is not a fan of wearing gala dresses on the traditional Hollywood red carpets. The 56-year-old confessed that she feels uncomfortable with extravagant looks and considers some of her outfits to be "excessive" and "a bit surreal at times".
Kidman explained that after the events, her wish is to simply take off her dress and put on her pyjamas, as she prefers the simplicity and comfort of her own home. She compared her experience of gala events to the opposite of the Cinderella story, where she prefers to get back to her routine and be herself.
Despite her aversion to gala dresses, Nicole Kidman is an award-winning actress, having won the Oscar for Best Actress in 2003 for her work in "The Hours" (2002). She has also been nominated for other outstanding films throughout her career.
