Natalia Leite is a Brazilian writer, director, actress and artist, born in São Paulo. She moved to New York in 2006 while studying art, and began writing, directing and producing her own low-budget short films there. Some of these short films were shown at international festivals, which gave her visibility. Today, at the age of 35, Natalia is an open homosexual and the theme of sexuality is frequently addressed in her works, such as in suspense M. F. A., 2017, e in the novel Bare, 2015. Natalia often encourages other women to seek independence by fighting their aggressors for freedom.
