A woman took her dead elderly uncle to the bank to get a loan of R$ 17,000 in the west of Rio de Janeiro. Érika de Souza Vieira Nunes was waiting for the bank to approve the transaction, which would only be carried out once the documents had been signed in person.

The agency's attendants noticed something was wrong, which led to the case gaining international notoriety. Now, the web has rescued a scene from an 80s film in which something very similar happens, causing the clipping to go viral on social networks.

The case of 'Uncle Paul' is reminiscent of 'A Very Mad Dead Man'

The record in question is from the movie "A Very Mad Dead Man". Actually, the sequel to the 1989 feature. In it, two friends discover a US$ 2 million fraud at the insurance company where they work and, upon confronting the alleged culprit, are invited to visit him at his beach house. There, they find the dead man and decide to enjoy the weekend at his expense, pretending that he is still alive.

The scene that has taken over the web shows the partners trying to sign a document in the name of the deceased. To do this, they come up with a whole scheme to disguise the deceased and even do a trick to pretend that the hand of one of them is that of the gentleman in question, by "rigging" his jacket so that the hand of one of the boys comes out of the sleeve of one of his arms.
