JOSÉ DE ABREU - 73 YEARS OLD

At just 73 years old, actor José de Abreu is practically a kid compared to some other old actors. His first soap opera appearance was relatively recent, only coming in 1980 with The Three Marys. But since then, he has been on the rise on Brazilian television and was another of the actors in the acclaimed The Lady of the Piece. He moved to São Paulo at the age of 14 to try to make a living as an office boy, but ended up dedicating himself to theater and television shortly afterwards. José de Abreu had five children, but unfortunately his first-born died tragically at the age of 21, when he fell from the window of his apartment.
